Radon
Is a color-less and odor-less radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil & rock and gets into the air you breathe.
New Horizons will place a Continuous Radon Monitor in your home for 48 hours, return to pick it up, enter the data into our computer for analysis and print your report. Results are available within hours.

Drinking Water Quality
If your family gets drinking water from a well, do you know if the water is safe to drink? What health risks could you and your family face? New Horizons will take a Water Sample from your home, check the PH and Chlorine levels, then transport the sample to our State Approved Lab for analysis. Results may take up to several days..

Molds
Reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Test samples are performed at the home, shipped directly to an Accredited Lab where analyzed. Results may take up to several days.

Septic Systems
Must be maintained by the homeowner, and should be one of their primary concerns. Over time septic systems fail. Tank size of the system may vary depending upon the number of occupants in the home and state / local regulations. Further reading can be found at National Environmental Services Center

NOTE : Under Title 26 9-217.1- persons engaged in the business of inspecting an on-site sewage disposal system for a transfer of property must certify to the Department of the Environment that the person has completed a course of instruction, approved by the Department.

Unfortunately, the wood in your home is equally appetizing to termites and can cause serious damage. Your Lender may require you to have a Termite Inspection.
